You will find that the majority of water lid manufacturers use a material called GRP (Fibreglass) for their water tank lids. GRP has been proven to delaminate and become brittle over time which results in lids being easily damaged or cracked, this necessitates premature replacement at an additional cost to your business.
We manufacture our water tank covers using a material called Rigid Polypropylene, which is virtually unbreakable and is well known for its excellent impact resistance. All our tank lids and covers comply with health and safety guidelines, and are supplied with a Lid Breather, seals and fixings. Our water tank covers are also internally insulated, providing excellent thermal insulation properties.
Our covers can be manufactured to fit any size or style of tank. Tank lids can be manufactured in a number of sections to suit environments where tank access is extremely poor. All lids come complete with Jointing Strips, Lid Seal, Stainless Steel Fixings, Air Vent and Self Tapping Screws. All water tank covers come with encapsulated 25mm insulation, provide improved thermal properties for the tank.
We are able to complete the manufacturing process for lids and water tank covers onsite should it be required by using a hot air wielding method, this helps to make our water tanks and lids some of the most durable on the market. Hot air welding ensures improved strength and durability, whilst removing the need for solvents and glues.
